Virginia Millis - Office Manager
Virginia Millis is the office manager at Obsidian Winds Group, bringing over 25 years of experience in early childhood education and nonprofit management. Originally from Ohio, Virginia is passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering community development.
A former collegiate volleyball player, she has served as a head coach at the middle school level for two years and with a nonprofit youth volleyball program for four years. Her love for music and art has been a constant in her life, having participated in state competitions in choir and small ensembles.
Virginia's professional journey includes valuable experience with the Peace Corps through the AmeriCorps branch, further highlighting her commitment to service and community engagement. She has also traveled across Asia, where she taught spoken English in Taiwan, enriching her cultural perspectives.
In 2017, Virginia volunteered with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, assisting in the food truck and uniform department to support young performers.
Family is at the heart of Virginia's life; she is married to James Millis and is a proud mother of four. Her diverse experiences and unwavering dedication to youth development make her a vital part of the Obsidian Winds team.
